Profile

Tomy Waskitho is the Executive Secretary to the President of ERIA and a Research Associate (RA) for the Office of the President. He has been involved in ERIA’s participation in major regional and global multilateral forums, including the ASEAN Summit, G7, OECD, and COP, among others. Tomy joined ERIA in early 2023 as an RA in the Policy Design Department (PDD).

Tomy holds a Master’s degree in Political Economy from the National Cheng Kung University and a Bachelor’s degree in Government Studies from Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. His research interests revolve around the Political Economy of Development, International Political Economy, Semiconductor Supply Chain, and Economic Diplomacy with a regional focus on East and Southeast Asia. Tomy’s writings have appeared in major publishers such as BRILL, Springer, and ERIA.
