The background, significance, implications and future prospects of the RCEP from the viewpoint of evolving regional economic architecture

In this webinar, key figures from ASEAN and Japan will share their views on the background and development of the RCEP negotiations, including the roles ASEAN and Japan each played, as well as the economic and strategic significance of the Agreement. They will then discuss the implications and future prospects of the RCEP in particular vis-a-vis the evolving regional economic architecture, including possible ASEAN-Japan cooperation toward the Agreement’s early entry into force, full implementation, and development as a platform for fostering free, fair, and rules-based trade in the region.
