ASEAN Foreign Ministers and ERIA officials were invited for the road trip from Thailand to Da Nang, Vietnam, via Savannakhet, the Lao People's Democratic Republic, to get first hand information on developments along the Route 9. 


Mr. Nishimura made a presentation on the Comprehensive Asia Development Plan (CADP) and its Implications for the East- West Economic Corridor to the Ministers during the journey.
