Als computerwetenschapper, gespecialiseerd in halfgeleiders en big data, gaf professor Xu Jiang nooit veel om nationale grenzen. Hij studeerde in het noorden van China, promoveerde in Amerika en werd uiteindelijk professor in Hongkong.
