Completed

The Institute of Developing Economies, Japan External Trade Organization (IDE-JETRO), the Centre for Development Studies (CDS), and the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) are presenting an Outcome Dissemination Seminar entitled: 'Innovation along the Value Chain in East Asia: Empirical Evidences with an Application to Aeronautical Engineering Industry in India', to be held in Trivandrum, India on Wednesday, 14 March 2018. The seminar is based on ERIA and IDE-JETRO's collaborative research on innovation and production networks in East Asia including non-R&D innovations in the manufacturing and upgrading of resource-based industries. The objective of this seminar is to familiarize policy makers, researchers and businesspersons in India with the outcome of the research in East Asia and policy recommendations and to break them down into more practical policies. The organizers expect that this seminar will enhance the understanding and policy views about the current situation of product development and process improvement along the value chains in East Asia.

We look forward to welcoming you at the seminar!
