The Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), in cooperation with the ASEAN Secretariat, will hold a tribute forum to commemorate the life of the late H.E. Dr Surin Pitsuwan, which will be held on:

The tribute forum seeks to reflect on Dr Surin’s legacy as ASEAN’s 12th Secretary General.

Dr Surin was a celebrated figure within the ASEAN community and played a pivotal role in ASEAN’s prominence as a regional organisation in international affairs.

The tribute forum will also feature family members and close colleagues of Dr Surin, representatives of ASEAN and ASEAN Member-States and a number of high-ranking government officials. After the Speeches session, audience members have the opportunity to deliver individual tributes about Dr Surin.
